Further down the coast from St John de Monts is Croix de Vie. Easy access launch point. Nice rigging on hard sand and a deep water waterstart just of a shelving beach. Straight out into the surf and out to sea. As the wind was lighter I was going out to sea about 2 miles just to get a good reach! 95% on the plane, planing exists and a few jumps. Good day. Shorts and rash vest 'cos of the heat. Sea was like bathwater temperature for the Atlantic.
